Most of the SL horses are coming out of Hot Races (races that were exceptionally fast for the class), or did something that was extraordinary in terms of velocity. 

WAGERING NOTE: Please note that these picks are similar to my thoroughbred picks in that, they are not just races in which I like the top pick. These are races that I feel I can hit, meaning that often my underneath picks will comprise the exacta or trifecta. In other words, I like these races and think that I have a good feel for how the race is going to be run. You'll often find that I will have the exacta listed in these picks, and many times the trifecta.
