HARNESS DIAMOND SYSTEM SAMPLE PRINTOUTS
Tuesday, July 13
This is from Pocono Downs. Here you can see that Eagle Invite
has the best Diamond Final of 122.2. Here you see how the Diamond System works
to pick longshots by balancing the pace of the race. If you look at the RP
SPEED, which is between RP PACE and RP KICK, these are my regular speed rating
based on my tables and based only on final time and variant. You can see
that the first 5 horses have either a 66, 67, or 68 speed rating, very close.
But the system put Eagle Invite on top. Why? Because Eagle Invite had a big pace
figure. If you look at Diamond Pace to the left, Eagle Invite had a 98 Diamond
Pace, by far the lowest and best pace rating in the race, indicating that he had
gone down to the three quarters in a very fast time. The system takes that early
pace, and balances it with the horse's final time and late speed (and variant).
The result is a nice overlay win of $123.40, right on top.

Monday, January 11.
This race from Yonkers on Monday night, January 11, is a good
example of how to use the various Diamond Ratings. In this race, using
option
L, which gives you each horse's last 3 ratings, the top ranked horse was
meadowlands shipper Spring Again. But if you look at Spring Again's
Yonkers ratings, they are not that good. With shippers, I always tell my
subscribers to put more emphasis on the RP SPEED than the actual
Diamond Ratings. RP SPEED is a basic speed figures and my speed figures are
simply the best available anywhere in my not-so-humble
opinion. That's because I have spent a lot of time adjusting for track speed. In
this race, you can see that the best RP SPEED is Jo Pa's Artist,
who has the top RP SPEED of 69. The next best Yonkers RP SPEED is One Card
Please who has a 66. These two horses finished 1-2 and the
exacta paid $390. Jo Pa's Artist won from post 8 and paid $37 and One Card
Please had post 7 and finished 2nd. If you look careflly at the
other ratings. I have put a box around 153, which is the lowest and best Diamond
Speed. Diamond Speed is a rating that combines final time
and late speed. Note that Jo Pa's Artist has the best Yonkers Diamond Speed, the
best Yonkers RP SPEED, and the lowest (and best) Yonkers
Diamond Kick Rating. No surprise that this horse won from off the pace, the
ratings show that she is clearly the best closer in the race, and
Yonkers has the longest stretch of any half mile track. Since Spring Again had
recent Yonkers ratings, in a situation like this, I am going to
use the Yonkers ratings over the Meadowlands rating to rate the horse. Look down
at the 12/14 ratings for Spring Again and they are not that
good. One more thing, using the RP SPEED or DIAMOND FINAL, Joe Pa's Artist and
One Card Please are ranked 2nd, 3rd 4th and 5th. If
you use Yonkers ratings, they are ranked 1-2-3-4. Basically, these two horses
are both clearly superior on recent ratings. Not only did they pace
better in their last start, their last 2 starts are superior. As Diamond System
users know, horses that are double or triple ranked near the top
of the L option are stronger plays than if they are only ranked once. Also, the
key to using the system successfully is to look for horses that have
strong rankings but are NOT favorites. Value is the key. In this case, the two
fastest horses in the race both went off at high odds.

$104 TOP WINNER! The Diamond System picked Dawn Izza Witch
right on top and she won
and paid $104. In the same race, Rootintootinfilly had the best Diamond Pace of 148, was
on an
upward pattern, and had "paired-up" ratings within the top 10 of RP
Pace, a longshot
system angle. I gave this race out on my Trotpicks selection service and had the
$350.00
exacta (see Recent Winners for results)
COLD $248 DAILY DOUBLE, $40 and $172 EXACTAS, $676 TRIFECTA
These are recent winners that the Diamond System picked, on
Thursday, July 31 at Yonkers. In the first, the system picked
the $14.10 winner and the COLD $40.50 Exacta. In the 2nd, the system had the
$43.70 winner on top, the $248 Double
COLD, and it also had the $172 Exacta and the $676 trifecta.

PACELINE OPTION Q, CONSENSUS BOX
The printout below is from Maywood on June 7 of 2007. It is the
first page or first 8 races of the night, but the system selected the winners of
the last 4 races also.
To run the consensus box using the Harness Diamond System, you
first run option Q, which automatically picks each horse's best race in its last
3 starts. You can view option Q on your screen (or print). Then you run the
system again and selection option 6, which is the consensus box. The consensus
box cannot be viewed, it prints. On this particular night, the system picked a
lot of big winners. In the first race, Diamond Pace (early speed) had the
$339.20 exacta and the $212.40 Early Double. In the 4th race, the Consensus had
the $263.40 trifecta. In the 6th race, Diamond Kick (late speed) had the $50.60
winner right on top and the Diamond Rating (Diamond Total) had the $790.00
trifecta. In the 10th race, which is not shown here, early category had the
$11.40 winner on top and the consensus had the $103.00 exacta, and in the last
race it had the $7.80 winner on top and the COLD $15.30 exacta. On the night the
system picked 7 winners on top.
The consensus box has proven to be very popular to our
thoroughbred Diamond users, and it works great for harness racing too. The nice
thing is, you can quickly see at a glance which horses have the best early
speed, which horses are the best closers, which horses have the best Diamond
Rating (Diamond Final), etc.
